EVENTS COORDINATOR | Permanent position based in Clarens

Support the organisation of all Sommet Education open days, new student arrivals and take part on the organisation committee for the Sommet Education annual workshop. Assist with other punctual events focused on Enrollment activities. The main objective is to provide a 5-star service, targeting potential candidates/guests visiting our schools. We need to guarantee a professional impeccable organisation that reflects the level of hospitality that our schools prepare our students for.

In charge of arrival logistics for new students’ arrival and check-in for all intakes.
Support the organization of Glion and Les Roches (Bluche) open days (about 6-9 per semester).
Communicate effectively and plan strategically with all parties involved to ensure a successful event.
Responsible of the daily follow up in CRM to ensure correct details are in place.
In charge of the organization of other punctual events in Switzerland and abroad on
Organize the logistics of the materials and admin tasks.
Give open day training to the new staff, brief and supervise the international enrollment officers, interns and the students’ ambassadors during the pre-events meetings and on the day events.
Conduct individual visits for potential students on campus.
Desired Skills and Experience

Bachelor in Hospitality/Tourism
Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position
Fluent in English and French (oral and written)
Positive attitude and Customer focused at all time
Autonomous as well as excellent team player
Proactive, Excellent organization skills

Additional requirements:
Highly flexible (some weekends and evenings activities)
Driving Licence
