Job description

An attractive work place at our Consumer Goods Business (CGB) and Finance and Administration (F&A) Headquarters. In this position, you will be responsible for the strategy, development, and market readiness of retail communication concepts, visual merchandising and zoning concepts for Swarovski CGB. You will report to the Vice President of Marketing Communications.


Your main duties will include the following:

  • Leading a team of 6-8 people
  • Identifying and prioritizing communication-relevant consumer and shopper insights and turning them into actions
  • Articulating the positioning of the brand through retail campaign ideas/creative concepts including zoning, short life tools and long life tools
  • Defining the communication message strategy for all retail channels and formats (e.g. Mono Brand and Multi Brand Boutiques)
  • Developing the specific campaign idea expression and retail specific sticky assets for all short life touchpoints, including digital in store
  • Leading the definition of the assortment modules for each program (approx. 12 per year) for all product categories, channels and retail formats
  • Ensuring that a proper plan is in place for the development (including engineering and production samples sign off) of retail short life and long life communication tools as well as digital in store activations for Mono Brand and Multi Brand Boutiques
  • Designing a creative and cost-effective zoning concept and planogram for Baselworld
  • Driving message and visual consistency across all relevant consumer communication touchpoints to maximize the effectiveness of the communication to consumers
  • Ensuring proper testing and analytics as well as data tracking and measuring to maximize ROI of all tools developed
  • Managing creative agencies
  • Providing deployment content for New Collection Presentations, guidelines, trainings, etc.
  • Managing the BTL development budget


A motivated, result-oriented team-player, who brings along the following background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • 5-8 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in luxury/fashion branded retailing
  • Customer orientation and strong business ethics
  • Pronounced leadership skills, ability to attract, develop and retain the right talent
  • Excellent communication, organizational and cooperation skills
  • Flexibility, openness to change and seeing it as an opportunity, with a forward-looking approach
  • Excellent command of English (spoken and written), German language a plus
